Obituary of Jeffrey Allen Routch

Retired U. S. Air Force Col. Jeffrey Allen Routch, 69, died Monday, January 9, 2017, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence. Born in Munich, Germany, he was a son of the late Retired U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Samuel W. Routch and Elizabeth B. McKernan Routch. Colonel Routch was a veteran of Vietnam. Surviving are two brothers, Greg Routch (Ingrid) of FL and Tim Routch of Charleston; a sister, Betsy Miller (Jack) of OH; and special friends, Pat and Michelle Vance and family of Sumter. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. Wednesday and also from 10 to 11 A.M. Thursday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
