Bryant was kind person, a loyal friend and a free spirit. We knew each other as kids, attending the same church in Sumter, and became good friends, sharing great times in Sumter and later, Columbia. When Pam and I moved to Nashville we lost touch for a while, but when Bryant, Jr. also moved to Nashville for work, Bryant would visit and invite Pam and me to join them for drinks and dinners. It was great to meet Bryant Jr., and later get to know Caroline. When "Rob Crosby and Friends" began our annual reunions in Columbia, Bryant and Beth were always there. Bryant and Caroline attended our most recent reunion just this past Valentine's evening. The last time I saw Bryant, my hands were on his shoulders as we greeted each other, never imagining it would our last time together in this life. Sail on my friend. - Rob Crosby Hoar
