Obituary of Susan Lynn Goldstein

Susan Lynn Goldstein, 84, widow of Charles David Goldstein, passed away peacefully in her home Sunday, March 2, 2025. Born in Gary, IN, she was a daughter of the late Maurice Fox and Muriel Litt Fox. Mrs. Goldstein was a member of Temple Sinai and worked at the Sumter County Library for 27 years, where she was able to fulfill her love for books and reading. Surviving are a son, Marc Goldstein (Maria) of Montgomery, IL, two daughters, Julie Mayers (David) of High Point, NC and Kelly Mills of Sumter; five grandchildren, Thia (Eric), Tripp, McKenzie Gray, Phoenix and Morgan; and a sister, Caryl McCaulou of Volo, IL. The family appreciates the community’s respecting Susan’s request for private mourning. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Sumter County Library.
