Obituary of William Clifton Cross

William Clifton “Cliff” Cross, 78, husband of Jane Suter Cross, died Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital. Born in Sumter, he was the son of the late Harry C. Cross and Loretta Wilson Cross. Mr. Cross was a retired Aero Space Engineer with Honeywell. Surviving are two daughters, Heather Connor (Keith) of Vance, SC and Tiffanie Cross of West Columbia, SC; a sister, Cindy Cross Keisling (Scott) of Sumter; three grandchildren, Ryan, Blake and Mason Connor. Funeral Services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, March 14, 2025, in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Bower officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. Friday, March 14, 2025, at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home prior to the service and other times at the home. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
