Obituary of Henrietta Evans Dailey

Henrietta Lambert Evans Dailey passed into heaven on March 25, 2025. She was born in Andrews, South Carolina, on August 10, 1930, to the late Richard Raleigh Lambert and Emma Swails Lambert.
Henrietta grew up in South Carolina and also spent time as an adult in the Detroit, Michigan, area. During her later years, she lived in Daytona Beach Shores, Florida.
Henrietta loved to crochet and make craft projects for non-profit organizations, especially for small children and veterans. She also enjoyed watching “old house” renovations shows on television. She loved music, playing the organ, composing songs, and singing. She treasured her dogs, Little Bit and Little Doggie.
Henrietta was proceeded in death by parents, brothers “Junior,” Herbert, and Leroy as well as several aunts, uncles, and nephews.
She is survived by her son Gerald S. Huber, Jr (Christine), grandchildren Gerald S. Huber III (Kathleen Durand), Michael Scott Huber (Colleen), Timothy Jason, and Brian Todd Huber (Rachel Montgomery), as well as great-grandchildren David Huber (Heather), Daniel Huber, Sarah Margaret Huber, Owen John Robert Huber, Brittany Durand, Matthew Durand, and Rebecca Durand. She has three great-great grandchildren, Isabella, Lucille, and Logan. She also has loving nieces and nephews Randy Lambert and Patricia Lambert, both of Catawba, North Carolina, Dexter Lambert, Urah Elizabeth “Libby” Harris, of Lynchburg, Virginia, June Nichols and Terri Feagin, both of Sumter, South Carolina and Richardean Martin of Elloree, South Carolina.
Graveside services will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Lake City Memorial Park to be performed by nephew Dexter Lambert. Condolences may be sent to the Huber family at 2545 South Atlantic Ave, Condo 2003, Daytona Beach Shores, FL 32118.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2170 W. State Road 434, Suite 300, Longwood, Florida 32779.
