Obituary of Robert James Lemon

Robert James Lemon, 96, husband of Judith Lynn VanAuken Lemon, died Monday, June 30, 2025, at his home. Born in Port Jervis, NY, he was a son of the late Ferdinand Charles Lemon and Ivan Brown Lemon. Mr. Lemon was the retired co-owner and operator of Zitone Construction Company in Montague, New Jersey. Surviving is his wife of Sumter; two daughters, Sharon Childress and husband William of Branchville, NJ and Nancy Fowler of Newton, NJ; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Lemon; a son-in-law, Walter Fowler and by the mother of his children, Patricia Lemon. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
