Obituary of Samuel Lee Burchfield

Samuel Lee Burchfield, 61, died Friday, July 25, 2025, at his home. Born June 22, 1964, in Sumter. He was a son of the late Samuel H. Burchfield and the late Lucy E.M. Burchfield. Surviving are three sons, Jason McLeod, Ryan Hodge of Sumter, Kalen Hodge of Linwood, WA; two sisters, Sue Craver and Shelby Gardener (Michael); and two brothers, Jerry Burchfield (Tia) and Timmy Burchfield (Mickey) all of Sumter; numerous nieces and nephew; and his spouse Cheryl Burchfield. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Martha Riles. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Family will receive friends following the memorial service.
