Obituary of Kathy Darlene Budash

WEDGEFIELD - Kathy Darlene Budash, 70, wife of Paul Budash died Friday, August 1, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. Born February 28, 1955, in Johnstown, PA. She was a daughter of the late Richard Divley and the late Marcell Morris Dively. She was a retired nurse from Tuomey Hospital and a member of Veritas Church. She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Sonya Heyward (Russell) of Wedgefield; and a sister, Sharon Kudel of Johnstown, PA; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 3 PM Monday, August 4, 2025, in the chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with the Bishop Walter McLeod officiating. Burial will follow in the Sumter Cemetery. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Heather Budash and grandson, Derek Brunell. The family will receive friends from 2PM – 3PM Monday prior to the service and at other times at the home, 6545 Cougar Way, Wedgefield.
