As a cousin to Tim we didn't get to see much of each other because the families lived in different states. But I finally got to meet up with him and his lovely wife at Schooners in Nederland and listened to him preach for the first time about a few years ago. The laughs we had but foremost how the anointing of God that filled the church that night. Tim you will be missed, but what a reunion you will be having with love ones that have gone ahead.

This little skinny preacher has always been a special person, after we met. Little Tim was an 11 yr old “Preaching Machine”. He blessed my heart. Later on, he began to call me “ma”. Made me proud!
Then he married this cute little Donna Jean. Years on, they blessed this world with two beautiful sweet daughters. These two girls called me “grandma Dot”
That was such a sweet little sound to hear in my ears.
The Hudsons began to live such a busy life until we began to drift away; nevertheless, my love stayed true.
I begged him to stay in the States with the ministry yet I knew he had to obey God. I never thought Bro Tim would get as sick as he did and even then, I honestly waited for healing to come. I just knew it would be down here!! Even though our loss is painful, we’re happy for you, not suffering anymore.
We are looking forward to reuniting with you very soon.
Love to all of the family ❤️

Condolences to the family of Tim Hudson. Tim’s father ‘Pete’ was my half brother. Each time I’d talk with Pete, he would always talk about how proud he was of his children, their accomplishments and love of God.
Though I wasn’t around Tim, I learned a lot through his illness through texts shared. He never lost his faith or love of Christ and knew that God was in control. His testimony speaks volumes. He was a true warrior for Christ and he fought the good fight.
Prayers for comfort and peace for the family.

Bro Hudson was one of the greatest men of God I knew. We will sure miss his ministry and fellowship. One revival he preached for us in Norfolk, VA we took him to a large homeless mission we ministered in. He brought the Quran and a Bible and read from both! I was afraid we would be kicked out! But he read where Islam said Jesus did not die on the cross where the Bible records He did. He told the crowd of men that they might say both were wrong but could not say both were right! There were a few Muslims in the crowd. It went well and Bro Hudson talked to the Muslims after the service. We will miss his humor as well. He had a great sense of humor. We are praying for Sis Donna and the family. Heaven gained a soldier of the cross. As the old timers say, he has his made and we have ours to make.

WHEN THE DOCTOR MET THE PHYSICIAN
A Poem By Rick Combs Celebrating The Life And Legacy Of Dr. Tim Hudson
We called him “Doctor Hudson”,
But he was so much more.
He spread Good News to those abroad,
And here, from shore to shore.
A most amazing intellect,
Anointed by The Spirit.
And those who heard him preach GOD’s Word,
Were glad we got to hear it.
Husband. Father. Man of GOD.
So eager to assist.
His parting leaves a giant hole,
And he will sure be missed.
We prayed that GOD would heal him.
And we thought we understood.
But GOD had greater things in mind,
And worked it for his good.
He’s in a land of healing now,
No cancer in that land!
And, in the presence of our LORD,
He will forever stand.
No healing could be greater,
For the body or the soul.
When the doctor met The Physician,
He truly made him whole!

Q: What will you miss most about Rev. Dr. Timothy?
A: We, Christians in Croatia, received many blessings through br. Hudson's ministry, been encouraged through his preachings and his testimonies. But for me as a pastor, the most precious moments were talking to him privately, when he could share with me some experiences from his pastoral and mission work and discuss about some theological or ethical subjects.
Br. Hudson is the one who had a great influence on my service and my personality.
In the church in Varazdin, Croatia he will never be forgotten.

Brother Hudson was a uniquely gifted and anointed preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His legacy lives on thru his precious family, the work he did, and the recordings that were made of his preaching. I just listened, a few days back, to “You’re not dead yet!”, preached at Bond, in 2011(I believe), and it was inspiring. Brother Tim loved God and loved people and had a humble sprit. Prayers for his family. May God grant strength and comfort.

Q: How did you meet Rev. Dr. Timothy?
A: I watched him grow up, took him to the Columbia Zoo with my girls. We were church family for my girls entire childhood. Brother Dewey Floyd his granddad was our Pastor. I remember helping, his soon to be bride, prepare food items for their reception. We always knew he’d be a minister of the gospel. His devotion to the Gospel of Jesus took him clear across the world. He is now reaping his reward!

Sending much love and hugs and prayers to all of you! Bro. Hudson was a great man of God. I have loved all the times he with his family or just him and his precious wife would come to the East Gastonia Church of God. Many times he brought the words we needed at that time. He loved everyone here and around the world but most of all he loved the Lord and now is standing in His presence forever! you rest now and enjoy heaven Bro. Tim!!!

Donna and Family, Tim was like a brother to me even though we were the same age. His friendship has been genuine. I have enjoyed the many singings and revival services he had as Pastor of Pocalla. He will be missed by all who loved and appreciated him and his ministry. May God graciously reach down and give you all the comfort that only He can give. Always reflect back on the memories that you cherished with Tim, they will last a memory. Sincerely in His Care, Grady O'Neal and family, Pine Ridge SC

Sis. Hudson & family:
Bro. Hudson’s life has touched our family in many ways. Our son, Robert Lee, was healed in the womb at the Pocalla Fellowship Meeting in 1999. He also dedicated our son at Pocalla at the meeting in 2000. Our first church dedication in Kings Mtn. was also preached by Bro. Hudson. He encouraged the church with the message, “Lord, Light My Candle.” There are also memories of youth camps where his humor along with a great anointing blessed our lives and others. We are honored to have known such a great man of God!

When I was a preteen, Tim showed me an old-style army helicopter helmet and let me try it on. That was a factor in a career decision later. Tim had positive influence for so many people in so many facets of life. Robert Wright
