Obituary of Sharon Rose Smith

Sharon Rose Wilson Smith, age 79, widow of Charles Roland Smith, Jr., died Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at the home of her sister, Patricia Ann King in Gloucester, VA.

She was a daughter of the late Floyd W. and Sallie Breckenridge Wilson. Sharon was a kind lady who devoted her time to helping others.

She is survived by her sister Patricia Ann King; nieces, Devera Phillips (Mike), Sharon Garland (Donald), Janice Hollifield (Darryl), Joyce Fatony (Sam), Judy Harris (Calvin), Linda Gibson, Cindy Chapman (Todd), Daphne Silvers (Bobby), Donna Swiney (Terry); a nephew David Jackson (Leanne), as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a son Aaron.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, December 29, 2025, at Oconee Memorial Park Cemetery, 1923 Blue Ridge Blvd., Seneca, SC 29672, with the Reverend Terry Swiney officiating.
