Obituary of Billi Mae Tanner

Billi Mae Tanner, 76, died Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at her home.

Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late O. P. Tanner and Dorothy Wagner Tanner.

Ms. Tanner was a retired volunteer with the Sumter County Museum.

Surviving is her daughter, Misty (Myers) Schmidt of Marietta, GA; a grandson, Cody Chupp of Goshen, IN; and a great-granddaughter, Olive Chupp of Goshen, IN.

Memorial Services will be held at 6 P.M. Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Shucker’s Bar.
