Beth & Tripp: I dearly loved your sweet Mama. I spent time with her & Esther Reynolds some years ago, and we always had such a great time chatting about family & golf which they were both great at for so long. May your faith, the love of family & friends, and your dear memories give you peace and comfort in the days ahead. Much love, Anne Walker

My wife and I met Connie while staying at Beth’s house on our way to watch the Masters with Tripp and Laura. Even though it was a short visit, her larger than life personality was obvious. We carry fond memories of her.

Connie was a force of nature and a perfect match for Dr. Ballard. While growing as a nurse my initial relationship was with Dr Ballard, who I soon found idolize Connie. Not only did he love her, he was purposed to and for her. I remember when we had conversations he often would say what would Connie think about that. He would call her up and the next thing I knew, I was getting real "Sage" advice from Connie. The tonal quality of her voice added to the confidence in the words she shared. They were the perfect couple. I wish I could have seen her more often in the later years. She has left an impact on my life. Thank you for sharing her with us.

Q: What will you never forget about Connie?
A: When Trip, Beth and I were in high school, I spent as much time at there house as at the school. Connie and I talked about her golf game and tennis outings
almost everytime I was there. Marvin and I watched the tv show ‘The Hitchhiker’ every Wednesday with or without Trip being home. Connie would make sure I had eaten and everything was good. I really miss those times. Trip and Beth, your mom was a special person and she will be missed. Richard
