Obituary of Patricia Ann Dennis
Patricia Ann Dennis age 73 passed away peacefully, January 14, 2026, at Lexington Medical Center, leaving a lifetime of memories, filled with laughter, joy, and love.
Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Richard Lacy Dennis and Hazel Alford Dennis.
Ann devoted 28 years of dedicated service to Toumey Hospital where she was known for her strong work ethics and caring presence. Outside of work she lived a life filled with energy and humor. She was the owner of Anne’s Fireworks a business that reflected her bright spirit and brought excitement to many in the community. Christmas was more than a blessed holiday for Ann. She brought joy to others by selling live Christmas trees. She loved seeing the excitement people expressed when selecting their perfect tree.
Ann was fun loving and famous among family and friends for her peaceful pranks and courageous laughter. She loved long car rides and would happily drive for hours. Anyone riding along knew they were in for a long but memorable journey.
One of Ann’s greatest joys was her beach house in Garden City, South Carolina, lovely named Annabelles. There she found peace watching the waves roll in and often sitting on her front porch simply taking in the ocean view. She especially loved capturing photographs of sunrises, treasuring the quiet beauty of the early mornings by the sea. Annabelle‘s was a place where she welcomed, family and friends, creating endless cherished memories and will be remembered for her warmth, her humor, her adventurous spirit, and the love she shared so freely. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
Surviving is her very special best longtime friend, and a host of cousins and extended family.
