Obituary of Mary Louise Newman Summerall

Mary Louise Newman Summerall, 78, had her Homegoing January 28, 2026, in DeBary, Florida.

 

A long-time resident of Sumter, she graduated from Edmunds High School in 1966, and became an LPN in 1976, working in various capacities and facilities throughout her career.

 

She is survived by her son Joe (Denise) of Deltona, Florida, her grandchildren Elyse and Ben, her great-granddaughter Maxine, sisters-in-law Stephanie Newman of Sumter and Connie Warner of Yelm, Washington, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

 

She is preceded in death by her daughters, Angela and Tammy, her parents, Norman and Bernice Newman, and her brother, Richard S. Newman.

 

A graveside service will be held on February 5, 2026, at Evergreen Cemetery.
