Obituary of Blanche Parrott Smith

Blanche Parrott Smith, 95, widow of William Charles Smith, died Wednesday February 11, 2026, at her home.

Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Carl Cecil Parrott and the late Cora Burkett Parrott.

Mrs. Smith was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church and was a retired registered nurse at Tuomey Hospital.

Surviving are two sons, William David Smith and Richard Charles Smith; two daughters, Cynthia Smith and Rebecca S. Bradham (Randall); 7 grandchildren, Kyle (Desiree), Garrett, Brandon, Nikki DuBose (Lee), Ryan and Cody Bradham; numerous great-grandchildren who were deeply loved.

She was predeceased by 6 brothers and a granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Fr. Ronie Lorcha, CRM officiating.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at 17 Snowden St and 10 AM -11 AM at the funeral home, prior to the service.
