Obituary of Patsy Eloise Jones

Patsy Eloise Jones, 82, widow of Ronald Ernest Jones died Sunday, March 1, 2026, in Summerville, SC.

 

Born August 17, 1943, in Poplar Bluff, MO, she was the daughter of the late James Wesley Hood and Carrie Lillian Smith Hood.

 

Mrs. Jones was a member of Wise Drive Baptist Church and was the former owner of The Debit One Mobile Bookkeeping, The Craft Needle Shop and Bernina of Sumter. She was also a member of the Red Hatters, Local Quilt Guild, Newcomers Club. She was an avid Square dancer and a master gardener. She was a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother.

 

Surviving are her four daughters Cynthia Jones (Kirk Kilgore), Carrie Jodoin, Cheryl Jones and Charlotte (Matthew) Bohr; grandchildren Hunter (Mao) Fitzpatrick, Jordan Fitzpatrick Briane Kenner) Taylor Fitzpatrick, Logan Fitzpatrick, Steven (Chelsea) Draper, Michael Draper, Joseph Jodoin, Jacob (Krystal) Harvell, Tyler (Jennie) Bohr, Kristen Bohr (Austin Fuller), Daniel Bohr, Jonathan Bohr; great grandchildren, Carson Harvell, Layton Harvell, Grayson Bohr, Jamison Bohr, Theo Bohr, Lukas Bohr, Gabriel Bohr, Harlowe Draper.

 

Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Rev. Matthew Bohr, Rev. Stephen Stanford officiating, assisted by Jonathan Bohr.

 

The family will receive friends from 3-4 PM at the Funeral Home.
