Obituary of Rhoda Elaine Ruighaver

Rhoda Elaine Ruighaver, 67, died Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at home.

Born February 24, 1959, in Rockford, Illinois. A daughter of the late Donald L. Brettelle and Pearl Elaine Evans.

She is survived by her Husband Ronald Ruighaver; two daughters, Marlene Teekell (Stephen) of Port St. Joe, Florida, Jessica Jones (Wesley) of Sumter: two sons Matthew Ruighaver and Steven Ruighaver (Brooklyn) both of Sumter; thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; sisters Nikki Brettelle, Vicki Geddings (Ronald); brothers Billy Hatfield, Ernest Hatfield (Barbara), Jack Brettelle (Kristy), Mike Brettelle, Gus Brettelle.

Rhoda is predeceased by brothers Donald Brettelle and Danny Brettelle.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Bowman.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
