Obituary of Gloria McCreary Fiorini

Gloria McCreary Fiorini, 90, widow of Samuel Joseph Fiorini, died Sunday, May 31, 2026, at her home.  

Born October 30, 1935, Columbia, SC, she was a daughter of the late Richard McCreary and Viola North McCreary.

Mrs. Fiorini was a graduate of Dreher High School in Columbia and was a member of St.  Anne and St. Jude Roman Catholic Church. She retired from Union Camp and Trinity United Methodist Church.

Surviving are four sons, Sam Fiorini of Lexington, SC, Ron Fiorini (Karen) of Raleigh, NC, Rick Fiorini of Sumter, SC, and Ken Fiorini (Kendal) of Columbia, SC; a sister, Miriam Knight of CA; five grandchildren, Heather Fiorini Ricks (Seth C.) of Columbia, SC, Nicholas J. Fiorini, Cameron M. Fiorini, Morgan T. Fiorini and Alexis C. Fiorini all of Raleigh, NC; three great-grandchildren, Jackson B. Ricks, Brady C. Ricks and Brooks C. Ricks. 

She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Johnson.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 P.M. Saturday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Saturday in the St. Lawrence Cemetery.
