We were very sorry to learn of Mrs. Richardson's passing. We only met one time, but I know from our conversation, her beautiful smile, and your books that she was a wonderful wife and mother. She no doubt leaves an empty space in your life, but what a reunion will be coming someday. When we met in 2013 my wife, Leah, was going through serious health issues, and Mrs. Richardson gave me a devotional book called, Jesus Calling, to give to her, and then she talked to her on the phone. In the flyleaf of the book she had written an encouragement to Leah: "May the God of all comfort encourage your heart as you read this little book. Truly no one cares for and understands us like Jesus!" I hope that Mrs. Richardson's own words will be a comfort and encouragement to Bobby and all the family. I'm praying for you all.

I will never forget meeting Betsy & Bobby. The sparkle in her eyes as she looked at him was such validation of her love and admiration for her dear husband. Married decades to my sweetheart, Betsy made me feel as if we were in a special, unique sisterhood. Her goodness, faith and grace will be rewarded today in her heavenly home. Godspeed Betsy & May God bless Bobby the rest of his days.

Coach Richardson and Family, It is with great sorry to hear of the passing of Betsy. I was able to get to know her when I played for Coach many years ago. She was a great lady to know and to be around. She was the Rock of Coach Richardson. She was also the mainstay of her children and grandchildren. My condolences to the family. Many Blessings. To the Richardson family, Christopher and I were so sorry to hear of your sweet momma’s passing. She passed from Earth to glory in a moments blink. How she loved Jesus and it was evident by her bright smile and warm hugs that she readily gave. Whenever we were in town to visit Christopher’s grandparents who lived next door , Betsy would invite us to visit , kids to swim and just get caught up on life. We didn’t get to do it as much as we would have liked due to such busyness of life. She lead her family with grace and strength and her children shall rise up and call her blessed.
