Obituary of Jane Baxter Owens Jones

Jane O. Jones, 99, went to her forever home Saturday, February 27, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was an active member of the Wedgefield and Sumter Community. She was a member of the Wedgefield Presyterian Church. For years she was in the Iris Garden Club, United Daughters of the Confederacy, Citizens on Patrol and a Volunteer Fireman for Wedgefield. She was active member of the Spectum Senior Citizen Club. She won many ribbons for crocheted creations at the Sumter County Fair. She is survived by Jane Jones, Frank Jones (Charlotte), Annette Kimberlain of Garden City and Susan Cleo MacMullen of Sumter. Jane was blessed with 10 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her husband Russell Franklin Jones, Sr. Graveside celebration of life will be held 3 P.M. Tuesday, March 2nd at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Sumter with Rev.
