Obituary of Alfonza Welch

Alfonza Welch, 83, died Sunday, October 1, 2023, at his home. Born in Turbeville, SC, he was a son of the late Clarence McSwain Welch and Bessie Beard Welch. Mr. Welch was a retired carpenter. Surviving are two nephews, Ronnie Welch and Michael Welch (Joyce). Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday at New Hope Christian Church Cemetery, New Zion, SC with Rev. Bobby Morris officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
