Obituary of Hydrick Gardner

Hydrick L. “Spider” Gardner, Jr., 69, husband of Teresa Arrants Gardner, died Thursday, September 14, 2023, at his home. He was born April 19, 1954, in Manning, and was the owner of Gardner’s Custom Made Cabinets and later Southeastern Casework. He attended the Sumter Christian fellowship meeting. He is survived by his wife; two children; and four grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Monday, October 9, 2023, at the Alice Boyle Garden Center, 842 W. Liberty Street, Sumter, SC. Spider will be missed by his many family, friends, and former employees. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Legion Post 15 Baseball Program, P. O.
