John Ewelle Grant, Jr., 84, died Friday, January 29, 2021, at Millennium of West Columbia.
Born in Sumter, he was a son of the late John Ewell Grant and Frances McLaurin Grant.
Mr. Grant was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a nephew, William Benjamine Abbott, III (Kelly Anne Clay) of Albany, GA; a niece, Susan Jean Abbott Butler of Charleston; a brother-in-law, William Abbott, Jr. (Aileen) of Sumter.
Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, February 26, 2021, at the Sumter Cemetery with Rev. Nick Cheek officiating.
