Obituary of Dorothy Mae Graham

Dorothy Mae Graham, 90, widow of Robert James Graham, died Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at her home.

 

Born in Mississippi, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Mettie Smith Anderson.

 

Mrs. Graham was a member of New Start Community Church of the Nazarene.  She was a retired seamstress.

 

Surviving are a son, James Graham; a daughter, Diane Graham; two sisters, Pearl Ardis and Pat Vause; two brothers, Herbert Anderson, Jr. and Thurman Anderson (Lou); three grandchildren, Marie Ofeldt (Paul), Wanda Williamson and Katherine Graham; 12 great-grandchildren, Tiffany Bush, David Graham, Jr., Ryan Graham, Sheldon Coker II, Brittany Waynick, Kelsey Ardis, Brianna Graham, Kaitlyn, Charlie and Bradley Williamson; Summer and Kirstyn Ofeldt; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by a son, Robert H. “Bobby” Graham; a brother, Kenneth Anderson; three sisters, Maybelle Floyd, Rosa Lee Russell, Gail Tedder; and a grandson, David H. Graham, Sr.

 

The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. to 12 Noon Monday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and other times at the home, 4850 Significant Drive.

 

Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon Monday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Turner officiating.

 

Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
