Claudia,
I am so sorry to hear of Dave's death. He was a wonderful friend, who not only cut my hair better than any other barber, but became a great confessor! He and I always had great conversations. I will miss him very much.
May peace be with your family and you over the years ahead.
Much love,
Earl

Claudia,
I was saddened to learn of Dave's passing. Working with him was truly one of the highlights of my time at The Citadel! I miss our many discussions about flying radio controlled aircraft and NASCAR. He will be greatly missed! Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.

All my thoughts are with Claudia & Dave’s family. I worked with Dave in the barbershop for the last 3 years, he hired me into the citadel family & taught me ALOT about being a barber & usually with a sarcastic remark to go along :) it definatley won’t be the same in the shop from now on, thanks Dave for bringing me into the shop and helping me grow in my career! All my love, Sarah Kilgore

My sincere condolences to the family of David Schonhut. Life gets away from us sooner than anticipated in the world as we know it today. It has to be a very painful time for all of you right now. As you move forward, each of you will carry loving memories of him with you and smile as you reflect on them. Take comfort in knowing he will never have to face the last enemy, death, ever again. In the meantime, the life he lived, albeit short, and his acts of faith live on until he stands up alive and whole in the Paradise. Jesus died so that we may live, this is God's promise to us. Acts 24:15
