Obituary of Lee J. Nesbitt

Lee J. Nesbitt, 83, husband of Rebecca C. Nesbitt, died Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Palmetto Health Tuomey.

 

Born in Sumter at Tuomey Hospital, he was a son of the late Hallie D. Nesbitt and Janie Bradley Nesbitt.

 

Mr. Nesbitt was a member of the First Church of God.  He was retired from Sumter Music & Amusement Company. 

 

Surviving are his wife, Rebecca C. Nesbitt; a daughter, Rose Ann Infinger (Tommy); three stepsons, Larry Zilch of Camden, Pete Zilch (Janice) of FL, and John Zilch (Kim) of Dalzell; three granddaughters, Ellen, Mary Peyton and Abby Zilch; three grandsons, Robert, Aiden and Zachary Zilch.

 

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Nesbitt and Rev. Calvin Nesbitt.

 

Funeral services will be held at 4 P.M. Saturday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Beacham officiating.

 

Burial will be in Wells Cemetery.

 

The family will receive friends from 3 P.M. to 4 P.M. Saturday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
