Obituary of Larry Bennett Johnson

Larry Bennett Johnson, 68, died Sunday, February 3, 2019, at his home.

 

Born in Sumter, he was a son of the late Samuel T. Johnson, Sr. and Lottie Mae Hutchinson Johnson.

 

Mr. Johnson attended the Sumter First Pentecostal Holiness Church.  He was a U. S. Army Vietnam veteran and was a former employee of Sumter Dairies.

 

Surviving are his mother of Sumter; a daughter, Annette Johnson; two brothers, Allen D. Johnson of Sumter and Samuel Thomas “Tommy” Johnson, Jr. (Gail) of Summerville; a sister, Alice Womack of Easley.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Howell officiating.

 

Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.

 

The family will receive friends from 1:30 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. Wednesday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
