Obituary of Bobby Fryer, III

Robert “Bobby” Benjamin Fryer III, 42, husband of Leslie Qualls Fryer, died Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence.

 

Born in Sumter, he was a son of Robert Benjamin Fryer II and Shirley Chambers Fryer.

 

Mr. Fryer was a member of Sumter Baptist Temple and was a self-employed welder.

 

Surviving are his parents of Sumter; his wife of Bishopville; four sons, Austin, Landon, Rylan, and Owen Fryer; a daughter, Sarah Fryer all of the home; a sister, Renee Fryer of Sumter.

 

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jamie Fryer.

 

Funeral Services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday at Sumter Baptist Temple with Rev. Michael Westmoreland and Rev. Chris Shepler officiating.

 

Burial will be in the Sumter Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers will be John Ray Hicks, Jason Geddings, David Garcia, Sammy DuBose, Jonathan Matear and Rick Bright. 

 

The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Friday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
