A. Ruth Reed, 86, died Monday, December 23, 2019, at her home.
Born in Huntsville, AL, she was a daughter of the late Charles L. Reynolds and Nancy Lewis Reynolds.
Mrs. Reed was a member of Hickory Road Baptist Church and she retired from a retail sales career.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas J. McDaniel (Pamela) of MD and James M. McDaniel of Sumter; a daughter, Karen R. McDaniel Olson (Jack) of Sumter; a brother, Thomas Reynolds of Easley; two step-daughters, Virginia Wilson (Ronnie) of Sumter and Sally Rhodes (Jim) of PA; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three husbands, S.M. McDaniel, Michael Makowski and Ernest A. Reed.
Memorial Services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday in Hickory Road Baptist Church with Pastor Ron Taylor officiating.
The family will receive friends at 1709 Marden Road.
