Pearl D. Benenhaley, 89, widow of James W. “Bo” Benenhaley, died Tuesday, January 28, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Lugoff, SC, she was a daughter of the late Soloman Benenhaley and Pauline Oxendine Benenhaley. Mrs. Benenhaley was a life-long member of Long Branch Baptist Church and worked many years at Pioneer Dress and Campbell Soup Company. Her greatest love was being a caregiver and homemaker. Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly and a dear friend Harden Stevens. She was preceded in death by a brother, Melvin Benenhaley; three sisters, Dorothy Marie Oxendine, Estelle King, Florence Watford and her dear friend, Allison Stevens. Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Friday at Long Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan Bradshaw officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 P.M. to 3 P.M. Friday at Long Branch Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Long Branch Baptist Church, 2535 Peach Orchard Road, Dalzell, SC 29040.
