March 23, 2020.
I am still in disbelief that I will no longer get to see Jackie's smiling face.
She loved her family, and shared wonderful pictures of them online.
I knew her for so long, it seems, and not long enough!
I met Jackie Gamble at church, Trinity United Methodist Church, in Sumter, SC, and she had been a good friend of my Aunt Eleanor Curtis Rogers Boone; they were both very successfully involved in the garden club. My mother Margie Ward and I send our deepest sympathy to Jackie's husband Wayne, and all of her family.
I learned a lot about floral arrangements from Jackie, she was so gifted with beautiful designs. She was fun and very interested in everyone's life and families...I will miss her cheerful smile at church and her Facebook presence always saying lovely things and sharing pictures of her beautiful garden flowers, which she and her husband Wayne did a beautiful job growing. She did gorgeous altar flowers for the church for years with spectacular arrangements during holidays and especially Thanksgiving. She was an artist! I was shocked to hear of her passing, and will miss her.
Jackie, we love you. God's peace to Wayne and all the family.
- love from Susan Ward and Margie Ward.

Wayne and Family, Heartfelt sympathies to each of you. Jackie will sure be missed by many. I am so grateful that the Good Lord placed Jackie in my life many years ago. As a parent of two of her students (Kim and Joel) I am grateful. They truly learned so many things such as respect, working with others and love from her caring classroom. She was their favorite teacher. As a coworker, I am grateful. As a special education teacher I worked with students from her classroom. She was so encouraging and loving to all no matter their reading level. She created a classroom that accepted and appreciated each other. One student comes to mind that could not read in her 4th grade class. Once we unlocked his approach to learning he took off and even felt so comfortable reading to her whole class a simple book. She made such a difference for so many. As her principal, I am grateful for her encouragement and teaching expertise. I could always depend on her for doing the best for all children and parents loved her too. Friday's were always special as she brought donuts if the class had done well that week. Don't think they missed a Friday. She was a masterful teacher and one of the best I have ever worked with. And, last but not least, as a friend, I am grateful. She was so much fun. We laughed a lot and shared memories and love for our work and family. No matter how long time went by before we met or connected, it was as if it was yesterday. Jackie was truly a Christian inspiration to so many. I know how much she loved her family and was always encouraging. She was a beautiful soul and touched so many people along her journey to her eternal home. God Bless each of you and I pray you will feel the Good Lord's loving comfort. Our family loved Jackie and we will miss her. Knowing Jackie.... We are grateful.

Wayne and Family, My deepest sympathy to all of you. Jackie will be very much missed by so many and rightly so. I have missed seeing her and working with her in recent months. One of my most endearing moments was when you lifted Jackie up into that truck after delivering the cotton that you both had picked to be used for The Council of Garden Clubs decorations for The Holiday House Tour and Tea in 2017. As fragile as she was, she sure was a trooper and you were her rock. JAckie so dearly LOVED ALL of YOU! and she was so PROUD. I'm so sorry that I can't be there Friday because of a Drs. appt.
I'll be there in thought. God Bless you all.
Love,
Rose Hines
