Elizabeth Ann Welch Saxon, 73, wife of James Richard Saxon, died Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at her home.
Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Robert Welch, Sr. and Irene Swann Welch.
Mrs. Saxon was a member of Meadowbrook Church of God.
Surviving are her husband of Sumter; two sons, Robert Wayne Saxon of Lexington and Rev. James Richard Saxon, Jr. (Marsha) of Simpsonville; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In light of the recent COVID-19 virus, private graveside services will be held at the Sumter Cemetery.
