Theresa M. Hyde, 81, an angel here on earth and widow of Herschel Hyde, died Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at her home.
Born June 25, 1938 in Moncks Corner, she was a daughter of the late Charlie and Bessie Brown.
Mrs. Hyde loved her family to no end. She was a professional seamstress and retiree of Charm House Fabrics. She could sew anything and can the best vegetables and jam you ever had in your life! She loved the Lord and never hesitated to spread His Word to others.
Surviving are her only child, Kathy Barkley (Jack); three brothers, Allan Brown (Mary), Jack Brown and Vernon Brown; four sisters, Wynetta, Lee, Kay and Linda; two grandsons, Roger Blakley and David Boykin; one granddaughter, Melissa Davis (Howard); 12 great-grandchildren, Brittany, Brieanna, Connor, Julianne, Hayden, Mason, Graham, Megan, Isabella, Sophia, Robert, Raven; two great-grandchildren; one expected great-grandchild and her precious cat, Fancy.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Leonard, Bubba and Boney Brown; two sisters, Dottie and Louise.
Graveside services will be held at 4 P.M. Friday at Lakeside Outreach Ministries Cemetery with Rev. Kenny Griffin officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Thursday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
