Katherine Cecile Rogers DeLavan, 65, wife of William David DeLavan, Jr. died Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.
Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Cecil Elvin Rogers and Patricia Ann McCoy Rogers.
Mrs. DeLavan was a member of Northside Memorial Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of Sumter; two sons, William David “Bill” DeLavan (Dana) and Cecil Ray DeLavan (Nicky); a daughter, Shannon DeLavan Coker (David) all of Sumter; four sisters, Sandra Wittmann (Rob) of Moncks Corner, Sherri Mabey (Dave), Patti Cotton (Mike) and Tammy Baker all of Sumter; six grandchildren, Riley Katherine DeLavan, Landon DeLavan, Gavin William DeLavan, Zoé Nicole DeLavan, Hunter Keith Coker and Karleigh Rae Coker.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Rogers.
Graveside Services will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday in the Sumter Cemetery with Rev. Neal Sweet officiating.
