I knew Ann Shoelen in Tucumcari, New Mexico as I worked with many of the handicapped adults From Eastern. Ann was absolutely the loviest southern woman I have ever met. Her clients loved her dearly and she did everything in her power to improve their lives. We were all very sad when she moved from Tucumcari but to find she lived to 102 wow! What a grand lady.

A warm smile,a great laugh, and a hearty welcome. Annie had traits to which we all can aspire. I will miss her gentleness.

I remember Cousin Annie as such a loving and kind person and so very similar to her beloved mother, Cousin Trude Fraser. She was a blessing to all who knew her. "With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation." Ps. 91:16

I’m so sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort help you during this difficult time. (2Corinthians 1:3,4 & Psalms 83:18). Jesus prayed for God’s Kingdom to come because He knew it would intervene to solve all mankind’s problems even sickness and death. (Revelation 21:3-5 & Daniel 2:44).

This world has lost one of the most generous, kind, graceful, intelligent and sweetest individuals known. We all can take so many lessons from her example of how to live in peace, kindness and civility. My heart goes out to Polly, Cynthia, Jack and the rest of her family.
