Obituary of Hazel Edward McLeod

Hazel Edward McLeod, 93, widower of Dorothy Virginia Dennis McLeod, died Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Prisma Health Richland Hospital.
Born in Sumter, he was a son of the late Archie Hampton McLeod and Betty Jean Poole McLeod.
Mr. McLeod was retired from Santee Print Works and he was a U. S. Army veteran.
Surviving are two sons, Joseph Edward McLeod (Nancy) and Allen R. McLeod (Cissy) all of Sumter; four daughters, Mary Louise Hodge (Sidney) of Manning, Virginia Mims of Sumter, Betty Diane King (John) of Elloree and Margaret Ann Smith (Don) of Dalzell; two sisters, Mabelle Wilkerson of Texas and Betty Jean McLeod of Sumter; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday in the Wells Cemetery.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
