Gene Autry Medlock, 81, widower of Jennie “Boots” Thompson Medlock, died Saturday, January 2, 2021 in Clinton, SC.
Born in Edgefield, he was a son of the late Samuel Medlock and Kathleen Reardon Medlock.
Mr. Medlock was a retired upholsterer.
Surviving are two daughters, Charity Ayers (Robert), Shannon Letrell Medlock; one grandchild; three-great-grandchildren; two step-sons, John Mark Mobley (Melony) and David Mobley (Marie).
He was predeceased by a son, Mark Presley Medlock; a daughter, Elaine Medlock; a brother, William “Buddy” Medlock; and a granddaughter, Virginia Moore.
Graveside services will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday in Concord Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Jim Johnson officiating.
