To the Family of Britton Cox,
Please accept my condolences of your dear loved one, Britton Cox. From reading the Obituary he seem to have been a joy to be around, I know you all will truly miss him. My heart goes out to you ALL. If I may, I would like to share a scripture with you from the Bible that I'd learned concerning the hope of our dead loved one; it's at Acts 24:15 "And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." I also learn resurrection means "stand up" and notice the scripture said "there is going to be a resurrection." So it gave me comfort and hope knowing that I will see my dead loved one again. Especially a cousin of mines that passed some time ago and was so young, like Britton; I look forward to seeing him again. I hope sharing this will give you some comfort. Thank you for allowing me to share this with you. Take care of each other.
Sincerely,
Ms. Wanda

Dear Miles Cox. Tammy Lynn Cook Cox, and Hamilton Cox, we are all so sorry for such a heartbreaking loss of beloved sweetheart, Britton Cox. I will always remember him as the very young, precocious little boy whom GG and I visited on Sans Souci Drive in Sumter in the early summer of 2001. I had brought my little Sasha along, as well, and Britton just fell in love with a little apricot poodle named Sasha. I will also remember the "Big Head" game GG played with Britton there on your couch - a delightful child. I love you all, and may God bless you all.

My heart is broken. I truly loved being Britton's teacher. I always remember seeing his face peeking in my classroom window with Hayes...their mischievous smiles melted my heart. He was so talented and I loved watching him grow. I am so sorry for your loss, your family has my deepest prayers. Much love- Mrs. Shoe

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this most difficult time. Britton was such a sweet young man and seemed to have a heart of "gold". May God's peace and comfort be with you.
It will be the little things that you remember, the quiet moments you may have shared, the special occasions celebrated, his smile, and his laughter, it may seem hard right now, but it will be the memories of these little things, that help push away the pain, and brings the smiles back again.
RIP Britton, your zeal and love for liee will never be forgotten.
