My sincere condolences to the family of Helen H. Walters. Life gets away from us sooner than anticipate in the world as we know it today. It has to be a very painful time for all of you right now. As you move forward you will carry loving memories of her with you and smile as you reflect those memories. Take comfort in knowing she will never have to face the last enemy, death, ever again. In the meantime, the life she lived and her acts of faith live on until she stands up alive and whole in the Paradise. Jesus died so that we may live this is God's promise to us. Acts 24:15

Helen has been our neighbor since 2002 and we have constantly stepped out on the back porch and looked next door , hoping she had come back home . We had our own lifestyles and things to do but if we needed each other , we KNEW all we had to do was call or bang on the door and we would instantly have help . If we saw each other in the yard, we would stop and talk, and get caught up on the latest happenings , or, if either of us was busy , a happy wave would suffice . Neighbors like that are more precious than gold . They cannot be replaced, only fondly remembered .

Our heartfelt prayers go to the family. Helen represented such strength and courage during her battle and we are blessed to have known her during our stay at the Hope Lodge in Atlanta. We have fond memories of our time with her, had lots of laughs and good memories. She loved her family. We will miss her dearly.

Sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She and I graduated from Bennettsville High Class of '64. She was a beautiful girl; Smart, sweet and lots of fun to be with and around. Sorry for your loss - Heaven's gain. One day we all shall see one another again. God bless and comfort your hearts.
