Tillie Keer, we thank you for your friendship!
Rest in Peace. March 2020
Tillie Keer was a beautiful person and was loved by all of her church family at Trinity United Methodist Church in Sumter, SC. Tillie and my mother Margie C. Ward were friends and classmates of the 1942 Edmunds High School class in Sumter, and bridge card game chums. My mother says Tillie was a wizard at that game and the best player she ever knew. I know she missed playing cards, and reading as her eyesight grew dimmer her last couple of years. Her spirit was always positive, however! Always had a good word to say.
She was such a fun person, and I considered her my friend as well! We will all miss her.
She was enjoyed by everyone in her Sunday School class, and United Methodist Women's group. She had a lovely sense of humor, and wit!
I am glad we got to see her a couple of times at National Healthcare Center, and Mom enjoyed sharing the pictures of both of them from their high school year book.
God bless you Tillie, and as Christian believers we are promised to meet again someday! Condolences to all of your family in the loss of your wonderful mother (and grandmother).
Susan Ward and Margie C. Ward.

So many happy memories of you, Dear Miss Tillie. Working together at Samples & Surveys on Saturdays was a challenge, but it was easier because
of your sense of humor and lots of patience! We had so much fun playing poker on Friday nights with my ladies club. I so enjoyed hearing the stories
of you growing up in Sumter...Mammy, the Chinaberry Tree and your dog named “Hitler”. I wish I could have visited one more time to give you a hug.
I’ll miss our monthly chats, your good advice and the love you showed me.
Rest In Peace, Dear Tillie...I love you!
Gayle
