I have the fondest memories of Aunt Bertha growing up in the Sumter Free Will Baptist church and all of the times spent at her house while visiting with my Granny (Mary Mims). They had a great friendship and I remember as a little girl being mad that I had to go to bed or be quiet because Granny and Aunt Bertha were on the phone. I know she welcomed her with open arms when she met her at the gates of Heaven....
