Robert S. (Bobby) McCreight
Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer
Licensed S.C. Pre-Need Insurance Agent


A Sumter native, Bobby is a graduate of Trident Academy and Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta, GA.  He has been in the Funeral Service Profession for over 30 years.  He is a member and former officer of the Sumter Rotary Club, a member of the Greater Sumter Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Tuomey Foundation Board of Governors, where he serves on the Board of Regents, and a member of the National Bank of South Carolina - Sumter Advisory Board.  He is married to Karen Sansom McCreight, and they have 3 daughters, Ann Elizabeth, Cate, and Sarah.  He and his family are members of Christ Community Church.

W. Cooper Hill

A native of Sumter, Cooper is a graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science.  He is a second generation Funeral Director, following in the footsteps of his father Mitchell Hill, one of the orginal owners of the firm.  Cooper is married to Meg Brogdon Hill, and they have two boys, Cooper, Jr. and Brogdon.  He is a member of First Presbyterian Church, where he also serves as a Deacon.

Richard P. Booth
Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

Born and raised in Sumter, Richard is a graduate of Sumter High School and received his degree in Mortuary Science from Gupton-Jones College in Decatur, GA. Having worked in both family owned and corporate funeral homes in Upstate South Carolina, he and his wife, Jamie, moved back to Sumter so that he could serve the community he has always called home.  

Susan Wilson Price
Office Manager


A native of Sumter, Susan is a graduate of Edmunds High School and attended Central Carolina Technical College.  She has over 30 years experience and serves as the Office Manager.  She is married to Johnny Price, and they have one son and two grandchildren.  She is a member of First Presbyterian Church where she serves as a Ruling Elder, Sunday School teacher, past Moderator of Presbyterian Women and has completed training as a Lay Pastor.  She is also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary where she formerly served on its Executive Board and as a past Chaplain.

Jimmy Wood
Apprentice Funeral Director

A native of Camden, SC, Jimmy is a professional photographer. He discovered how funeral service can be a ministry when his father died in 2007. He became a Funeral Assistant with Elmore Hill McCreight in January 2016 and received his apprentice license in 2018. He and his wife Shirley are members of First Presbyterian Church of Sumter and have 3 children and 9 grandchildren.
