Obituary of Ann Reynolds

Virginia Ann McCall Reynolds, 90, widow of Condy Carr Reynolds, died Friday, May 21, 2021, at NHC of Sumter. Born in Charlotte, NC, she was a daughter of the late James B. McCall and Virginia Orr McCall. Mrs. Reynolds was a member of St. James Lutheran Church where she served in the Stephens Ministry. She was a former Director of In-Service Education at the Tuomey Hospital Nursing School and was a retired Director of Nursing at Clarendon Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the D.A.R. and the Sumter County Special Needs and Disability Board. Surviving are a daughter, Diane Reynolds Richardson (Wade) of Sumter; four sons, Stephen C. Reynolds (Eva Marie) of Pinewood; Thomas M. Reynolds (Kathy) of Greer, Rev. Dr. Phillip E. Reynolds (Betsy) of Summerton and Robert W. Reynolds (Dianne) of Winston, GA; 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Jackie Thomas, Sybil Gilbert and a grandson, Tommy Reynolds, Jr. Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday in the Reynolds Cemetery in Pinewood with Rev. Keith Getz officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. Sunday at the home of her son, Stephen Reynolds, 6030 Nazarene Church Road in Pinewood.
