Obituary of Floyd Wilson Butler

Dalzell, SC Floyd Wilson “Catfish” Butler, 55, husband of Melody Ann Mauldin Butler, died Sunday, May 10, 2015, at the Tuomey Regional Medical Center. Born in Gastonia, NC, he was a son of Floyd Leon Butler and Frances Ann St. Clair Butler. Mr. Butler was a retired welder. Surviving are his wife of Dalzell; his parents of Lake Wateree; two daughters, Hope Butler of Lugoff and Stacey Pickerson (Bobby) of Dalzell; a brother, David Lee Butler (Diane) of Matthews, NC; a sister, Debra Medlock of Lugoff; four grandchildren, Skyler Croft, Kelsey Croft, Shanna Ingham and Penelope Pickerson.; two nephews, Cal Medlock and Chris Butler and one niece, Megan Butler Boone. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M. Thursday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and other times at the home of his daughter, 2700 Watermark Drive, Dalzell.
