Obituary of Niamless Smith Martin

Niamless Smith Martin, 84, widow of Edgar Henry Martin, died Sunday, June 27, 2021 at McLeod Hospice House in Florence. Born in Conway, she was a daughter of the late Donnie Smith and Addie Bell Brown Smith. Surviving are a son, Edgar A. Martin (Gloria) of Sumter; four daughters, Sandra Martin, Brenda Reaves (Roy), Sarah Geddings (Cotton), and Deleana Brewer (Ronnie) all of Sumter; a brother, Wayne Smith of Cameron, NC and a sister, Annie Bell Pittman of Raeford, NC; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Rebecca Compton. Graveside services will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. Tuesday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and other times at the home, 2522 St. Edmunds Drive.
