Obituary of Bob Mitzenheim

Robert (Bob) Lorenz Mitzenheim, 66, died Sunday, June 13, 2021, in Las Vegas, NV. Born in Milwaukee, WI, he was a son of the late Lorenz Julius Mitzenheim and Marie Ann Laatsch Hight. Mr. Mitzenheim was a U. S. Air Force veteran. He graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in education. He taught Science and Math at Bates Middle School and at the PAL Academy for a number of years. He was an avid fisherman, boater, motorcyclist, aviator and musician. He was a member of the Claremont Masonic Lodge #64. He acquired numerous friends through his many adventures in these hobbies. Surviving is a daughter, Beverly Jean Mitzenheim (Leslie) of Sumter and a sister, Lorelle Radder (Bob) of Wisconsin Dells, WI.; one sister-in-law Linda Blaser of Wisconsin. Preceded in death by one brother Gerald (Jerry) Mitzenheim. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M. at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home & Crematory.
