Dear Fair, your old Columbia College roommate is so sad to read of Dick's passing. Many years have passed and many memories of years gone by have not made me forget the fun times there. You are so close to me but we have not seen each other in years. I am so very sorry that we have not visited. I have lost my husband also, so I feel your pain. You are in my thoughts and prayers as you begin this journey without Dick.

You always knew Dick Edmunds was your friend. Never a cross word or an unkindly greeting. Many Many memories at the YMCA. His locker was close to mine, and we spent hours exercising and ribbing each other about anything and everything. He won several weight loss bets, and I always accused him of taking water pills to expel excess weight. He would never admit to doing it, but would extend out his hand, give me that sly smile and say “pay up”. Will miss you my friend. Our world is getting smaller and now it has lost a champion of a man.

Fair, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I have known Dick all of my life. He has always been such a sweet, caring person. I know you will miss him. I would come to Wedgefield, but I am not able because of health issues. Please give all the Edmunds my love . Love you.
