Obituary of Marlin Geddings Henderson

Marlin Geddings Henderson, 63, wife of Hugh Henderson, died Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Lexington Medical Center. Born in Columbia, SC, she was a daughter of Linda Treme Geddings Hammond (Mobley Jack) and the late Marion Jerome Geddings. Mrs. Henderson was a member of Wedgefield Baptist Church and Manager of the Richland County Solid Waste Department for forty years. Surviving is her husband; her mother; a daughter, Angela Compton (Cedric); a brother, Jay Geddings (Debbie); a stepson, Hugh Henderson, III; a stepdaughter, Rebecca H. Sharpe (Tim); three grandchildren, Leigh and Will Sharpe and Amelia Henderson; a niece and nephew, Elizabeth and Tillman Geddings; and her loving dog, Buttercup. Graveside services will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday, August 29, 2021, at Wedgefield Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Paul Goff officiating.
