We will always remember racing with you at Sumter Speedway back in the day. Maybe not the same class as you, but we watched you and learned a lot from you about racing. You will be missed. Prayers for family and friends.

Bob was one of the finest gentlemen I met while in Sumter for over two decades. He will be truly missed by his family, and his friends. I feel very confident he’s with the Lord now. God bless him, and all those who remember him lovingly, and /or fondly!

Thanks for the friendship over the years. I will always cherish that last visit and talking old times. Bob always had time for ordinary people. His heart was always right and his hand was fair to all. You always knew where you stood with him. Prayers and condolences to the whole family during these times. His eye is on the sparrow............... Rogers Reynolds

Bob, you have been a brilliant, amazing man of vast accomplishments. I have been so proud of your humility, fun-loving nature, compassion, and dedication to your “girls” and other family. You and Linda raised wonderful girls, and you provided well for them. They adore you.
Your generosity and support for the building of two Churches of God, Anderson, Indiana, affiliated, are greatly appreciated. The church people and so many friends and relatives enjoy and love you. You have a heart of gold. You are truly delightful, feisty, funny, a racing terror, and a tiny bit devilish, You’ve been a wonderful brother to me and our amazing brother Rich. You two learned much from Dad, Rev. Sam Howell Sharp, and Mom, both in heaven.
Bobbie and Jake’s boy Hall, 8 years old, is a good example of how your family and others admire you. He refuses to go to Sweet Frog anymore “because Grand Daddy Bob can’t take me.” Your grandchildren are crazy about you and talk about you often. The family tells funny stories about you at gatherings. Our memories of you are pasted delightfully in our hearts forever.
Your generosity has enhanced many lives as you have helped with bills, appliances, cars, the needs of deceased friends’ children, employees, Mom, and me. You and Rich have even influenced my university students as I’ve referred to you in terms of your productive work, ethics, motivation, and success.
Thanks for serving Sumter and many other locations with well-built homes, churches, schools, banks, and other buildings.
See you in heaven, Brother! Love, Emily
