Obituary of Doris Nell Felkel

Doris Nell Newman Felkel, 95, widow of James W. Felkel, Sr., died Monday, October 5, 2021, at her home. Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Robert Newman and Donnie Modlin Newman. Surviving is one daughter, Delores Reynolds of Sumter; two grandchildren, Candice Cole (Kyle) and Dawn Campion (Derrick); and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, James W. Felkel, Jr.; three brothers, Thad, Herman and Norman Newman; two sisters, Pearl Copeland, Florence Harris; and a son-in-law, Lamar Reynolds. Graveside services will be private.
